Agent Game

In the present day, a trio of skilled private agents is on a mission to track down a target in Antwerp, Belgium. They are backed by a local strike team, comprised of Bundy and Manson, who stealthily launch an assault on the target within his residence. However, the target is prepared, ingeniously transforming ordinary household items into lethal weapons, forcing the agents to reveal themselves and assist their strike team. When the agents finally arrive, the target unexpectedly surrenders, but they must now fend off the Belgian police to secure his extraction.

Five weeks earlier, CIA Agents Harris and Bill interrogate Omar Abadi at a covert facility, aided by Visser, all under the command of Olsen. Omar finds himself in custody for allegedly receiving a hefty sum of $2 million intended for his resistance group, the Crescent Democratic Front, which seeks to dethrone the tyrant Bandar El-Mizdawi. However, the origins of this money link Omar to a terrorist organization, complicating matters.

As the trio attempts to elicit a confession from Omar, it becomes increasingly clear that he has no affiliation with any wrongdoing. Bill suspects that Olsen is concealing crucial information about Omar’s case, urging Harris to reassess their approach since Olsen insists on their mission to eliminate Omar based on questionable evidence. Conflicting tactics arise between Bill and Visser, leading them to adopt different methods in their attempts to manipulate Omar; while Visser resorts to emotional coercion, Bill remains steadfast in his belief in Omar’s innocence.

Observing the interrogation from another room, Harris receives critical information that El-Mizdawi has been cooperating with the CIA to combat Al-Qaeda. After receiving orders to capture Omar, a shocking turn of events arises when Visser kills Omar under the pretext of self-defense. This twist reveals that Visser has specific directives from Olsen that involve eliminating Bill as well. In a harrowing moment, she shoots Bill in the interrogation room, with Harris witnessing this betrayal and managing to escape with damning evidence of the incident, narrowly fleeing before Visser and two guards close in on him.

Fast forward to the present, the mission sees the three agents en route to capture a target under Olsen’s orders. As the action unfolds, Kavinsky, Miller, and Reese board a plane to transport the target, who turns out to be none other than Harris himself. Kavinsky, an ex-marine with a murky past involving multiple CIA rejections, is on this mission under the pretext of proving his capabilities. Olsen simultaneously seeks recruits like Miller, a Harvard Law drop-out with a penchant for trouble, to fulfill his plans.

Complications arise as Kavinsky receives mysterious, encrypted messages, warning him against conversing with the target or examining the messages on his phone. In a parallel narrative, “Control” (later revealed as Visser) is in contact with both Kavinsky and Miller, insisting they shield the target from engaging in any discussions.

As the undercurrents of Omar’s interrogation mix with Harris’s capture, the chilling reality of the CIA’s manipulations and ulterior motives begin to surface. It becomes evident that Omar’s demise was merely collateral damage in a larger scheme involving El-Mizdawi’s deal with the CIA aimed at thwarting Al-Qaeda. Olsen orchestrates the operation with ruthless precision, as everything hinges on eliminating any loose ends.

Tension mounts when Kavinsky discovers body bags aboard the plane and realizes the mission has become a deadly trap. Desperate for clarity, he presses to speak with the target, leading to a turning point when they uncover the horrifying secrets hidden in the messages — a video that reveals Visser’s brutal killing of a fellow operative. They now realize the encrypted messages originated from Harris himself. In a tense alliance, the team bands together with Harris to thwart Visser’s lethal plot, leading to a chaotic gunfight erupting between them and Visser’s crew.

Despite Olsen’s desperate measures to silence everyone involved — including attempts at a drone strike — Harris and the others persevere, eventually overpowering Visser. In the climactic battle, Visser meets her end at Harris’s hands, but the fallout leaves the team shattered; Reese sacrifices himself, while Harris, Kavinsky, and Miller manage to escape unnoticed, leaving Olsen to believe he has eliminated all traces of the operation.

Two weeks later, as Olsen grapples with the aftermath, he receives a harrowing video feed capturing Visser’s murder of Bill, a compromising piece of evidence that could unravel his carefully constructed facade. Recognizing he is being pursued, he spots a familiar van amidst the chaos. In a nerve-wracking moment, the van, carrying Harris, Kavinsky, and Miller escapes the scene as Olsen grimly acknowledges to a contact, “We have a problem.”
