Balram, known as Karadi Balu, is a principled but controversial police officer. He tracks down and apprehends Satyaraj within a day, bringing him into custody for questioning. However, before any interrogation can begin, another investigating officer takes charge of the case, shifting the dynamics of the investigation.

Vincent, aided by Adv. Jayachandran, manipulates witnesses and tampers with evidence to secure Satyaraj's acquittal on the current charge. The ruling clears Satyaraj of the offence but Balram remains entangled in other pending cases. The corruption leaves Balram in custody while the bigger conspiracy unfolds.

The escape shifts the balance of power, enabling Satyaraj to evade immediate pursuit.

Radha, sister of the teenage boy killed in the initial case, pursues justice against Balram and the police. She begins a case through Adv. Jayachandran, who convinces her that Satyaraj possesses documents implicating Balram. Radha agrees to shelter Satyaraj, aligning with his interests and complicating the investigation.

During a vehicle search, Balram retrieves incriminating documents and submits them to his superior. The superior officer, who is in league with Vincent, sabotages the case by returning the documents to Vincent. Balram had already sent a copy to the Central Bureau of Investigation, setting the wheels in motion for a larger crackdown.

Acting on Balram's copied documents, the Central Bureau of Investigation arrests the corrupted superior, Vincent, and Adv. Jayachandran. The exposure of the conspiracy reframes the investigation and exposes the rot within the system. The case escalates from a personal vendetta to a broader corruption scandal.

Radha learns from Vincent's son that her brother was killed by Satyaraj on Vincent's orders. To deflect suspicion, the corrupt superior officer framed Balram as the accused, further entangling the case. The revelation shifts Radha's allegiance and intensifies the hunt for Satyaraj.

Realizing the devised cover-up, Radha informs Balram of Satyaraj's whereabouts. Balram formulates an operation to arrest Satyaraj, coordinating with partners to close the net. The plan increases tension as Satyaraj becomes aware of Balram's pursuit.

Satyaraj, realizing Balram's plan, abducts Radha and her friend to escape. A high-stakes chase ends in a scuffle where Balram kills Satyaraj. In the aftermath, Balram is arrested by fellow officers, closing the immediate pursuit and leaving the larger conflict unresolved.
