Peg is Solomon's girlfriend, pregnant and hoping for a better life. She pushes Solomon toward training and a future beyond their current circumstances. Her presence at ringside embodies the personal stakes behind Solomon's pursuit of success.

Diane is a recovering alcoholic recently released from prison, connected to Sailor through a tragedy tied to his family. She seeks forgiveness for her past actions, and her presence adds layers of guilt and potential redemption to the narrative. Sailor's interactions with her test his capacity for mercy as the fight looms.

Fast Eddie is a local boxing promoter who orchestrates the comeback bout. He negotiates a loser's purse and lays out high-stakes conditions to spark interest in the fight. He attempts to recruit Solomon for his roster and uses financial incentives to shape the fighters' paths.
