A Castle for Christmas

Best-selling author Sophie Brown is seeking solace in Scotland after the uproar caused by her latest book, where she controversially killed off the male lead, coinciding with her recent divorce. The amount of backlash she faces was amplified by an explosive television interview, prompting her retreat to her father’s hometown of Dunbar. Here, she is greeted warmly by locals who are avid supporters of her writing, even in light of her last installment.

While touring the nearby Dun Dunbar castle, a place rich with family history where her grandfather once worked, Sophie crosses paths with a mysterious man, who abruptly evicts her from a restricted area of the castle. Back at the cozy B&B, she bonds with the charming local knitting club. Through their casual chats, she shares insights about her daughter Lexie and reveals more about her father, Callum McGuinty, fostering a sense of camaraderie with the group.

As Sophie learns that the castle is for sale, she encounters its owner, the dashing Myles Dunbar.
