Flatland is a two-dimensional world where sapient polygons live under a fragile democratic system. Spaceland, a proposed or actual three-dimensional realm, is introduced by A Sphere and represents a higher plane of existence. The Northern Kingdom is a neighboring realm with different policies, while Messiah, Inc. is a powerful organization tied to Spaceland's gospel.
