Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century

Zenon Kar lives on an Earth-orbiting space station and clashes with Commander Edward Plank. After a confrontation, her parents punish her by sending her to live on Earth, away from home.

Her family decides to send Zenon to live with Aunt Judy on Earth as punishment for her behavior on the station. The separation marks a new chapter, forcing her into a school environment far from home.

On Earth, Zenon struggles to fit in with local kids who find her space-station slang and stories odd. She also discovers that her own pop-culture references differ from the Earth kids' tastes.

Zenon begins to make friends with two boys, Andrew and Greg, who accept her presence. These new friendships help her adjust and see life on Earth differently.

Zenon and Andrew form a closer bond, and their relationship adds a personal stake to the adventures on Earth. Greg remains a supportive friend along the way.

During her time on Earth, Zenon uncovers a plot by Parker Wyndham to crash the space station using a computer virus to collect insurance money. Her discovery shows that the threat is not just a prank but a real danger to her family and friends.

Commander Plank refuses to believe Zenon's story and convinces her parents not to listen. The warning is dismissed, leaving the station vulnerable to the virus attack.

Proto Zoa recognizes Zenon from a Dance with Proto Zoa contest and invites her to join him on the rocket bound for the space station. The invitation gives Zenon a chance to return to the station and confront the threat firsthand.

Wyndham and his assistant Lutz board the rocket to stop Zenon, and Aunt Judy follows to support Zenon. A tense chase unfolds as they race toward the space station.

Upon arrival, Commander Plank is shocked to see Zenon, but lets her stay when he becomes smitten with Aunt Judy. He remains skeptical of her warnings, though.

Zenon manages to upload Andrew's antivirus program to the station's computers in time, thwarting Wyndham's virus scheme. The antivirus spreads through the system and stabilizes the station's operations.

Wyndham and Lutz are arrested as the danger dissipates. The crew can finally prepare for the celebratory Proto Zoa concert and a return to normal life.

The Microbe concert goes ahead, and the crowd cheers as Zenon and her Earth friends celebrate victory. The experience helps Zenon bridge her two worlds and form lasting friendships.
