Babu, Nikhil Siddhartha, an optimistic orphan raised by his aunt and uncle, grows up convinced they swindled his property. After a heated argument with his uncle, he leaves home and heads to Hyderabad to stay with friends he trusts, hoping to find a fresh start and a space where his gentle, happiness-spreading nature can flourish. He moves with a sense of purpose, choosing to surround himself with people who believe in the good in others and in making life a little brighter for those around him.

In this new city, he crosses paths with Baby, Aksha Pardasany, and a warm friendship forms between them. Baby’s loneliness often finds relief in the presence of Babu and his three close friends—Ajay, a software engineer; Kiran, a security guard; and Subbu, an assistant film director—who do their best to lift her spirits and bring smiles to her days. The group becomes a small, trusted circle around Baby, showing how companionship and simple acts of kindness can become lifelines.

The story takes a darker turn during Baby’s birthday celebration when a group of goons harasses her. Babu confronts them with courage, setting off a chain of consequences that ripple through all their lives. The menacing encounter rekindles a desire for revenge, and in the ensuing clash, Subbu suffers a serious injury. The doctors’ demand for ₹5 lakh to cover surgical costs forces Babu into a brutal choice: he borrows money from the moneylender Laddu, Narsing Yadav with a strict one-week repayment deadline. The pressure to come up with the funds mounts quickly, and when the amount remains out of reach, the group pleads for two more days to gather it.

Desperation pushes Babu and Ajay toward a desperate plan: a bank robbery. They attempt the heist to secure the needed money but are caught in a frame for a crime they did not commit. The sense of betrayal grows as they realize they are being set up, and their suspicions lead them to suspect Kiran’s involvement, pushing them into a jail cell where their freedom seems increasingly distant.

Inside prison, Babu forms an unlikely alliance with the jailer and meets Nannanna, Sayaji Shinde, a notorious inmate who becomes pivotal in the unraveling of the truth. On the outside, a gangster named Sonu Seth, Jeeva, intervenes and helps secure their release, injecting a glimmer of hope into an otherwise bleak situation. This turn of events prompts a relentless pursuit of the real mastermind behind the bank robbery: a criminal named Nayeem. As clues converge, it becomes clear that there may be a link between Nannanna and Nayeem, and Babu seeks Nannanna’s help to expose the truth. Nannanna agrees, adding a fragile alliance to the fragile hope they cling to.

The court finally declares Nayeem as the true culprit behind the bank robbery, shifting the balance of the case and validating the suspicions that had unsettled the group. In a decisive, if imperfect, action, Babu, Ajay, and Kiran surrender in court along with the stolen money, a consequence of their earlier escape from custody that had already marked them for punishment. The sentence—six months in prison—reflects the complexity of justice in a world where intent, misfortune, and misjudgment often collide.

Yet the film closes on a note of resilience and renewal: the four friends, along with Baby, reunite, choosing to face whatever comes next together. The warmth of their enduring bond underlines the film’s hopeful message—that loyalty, kindness, and shared moments of joy can endure even through trials and mistakes.
