Ramu Tarun, a spirited young man with dreams of becoming a business tycoon, clashes with his middle-class father who insists on a secure job. On the other side, Jyothi Ileana D’Cruz, a pretty aspiring model, faces family pressure to settle down through an arranged marriage. The two decide to break away from their families to chase their ambitions and meet for the first time on a train, where a thief steals their baggage and their paths diverge briefly.
They each run into trouble: a pawn vendor swindles Ramu and the judges at a beauty contest dismiss Jyothi. That night, the two reconnect at a railway station and share their sorrows, realizing they’ve both learned a tough lesson about the harsh realities of the world. In that moment, they choose to face life together and drift into crime, branding themselves as Romeo & Juliet.
From there, the duo begins a spree of swindles against the elite, while secretly helping people in need. Their audacious cons pay off and their bond deepens, and they eventually move to Hyderabad. Along the way, they befriend a cute little girl named Chinnari, whose fate pulls at their conscience. Their finest, and most dangerous, heist targets a showroom owned by the ruthless drug kingpin Veeraraju, a man whose temper knows no bounds and who vows to hunt them down.
A relentless pursuit follows as the police assign DCP Yugandhar [Jagapati Babu] to capture Romeo & Juliet. The lovers’ escape becomes more urgent when they learn Chinnari needs urgent heart surgery, requiring a staggering ₹1,000,000. To fund the operation, they devise a bold ruse involving fake drugs that casts Veeraraju into a fever pitch of rage and desperation.
Tensions flare when Yugandhar confronts them in a dimly lit pub, and Veeraraju’s anger rises as he accuses the two of fraternizing with the police. Higher officials issue ultimatums, and the chase intensifies. Yet Ramu and Jyothi manage to raise the funds for Chinnari’s operation and attempt a daring escape, only to be captured again. In a sharp turn, Yugandhar orchestrates a major strike, freeing them from prison and dealing a crushing blow to their criminal career—effectively ending their run as outlaws and sending them home.
In the aftermath, Veeraraju ends up behind bars, and Yugandhar moves on to other duties, including traffic. With the danger behind them, the hearts of Ramu and Jyothi are finally accepted by their families, who decide to give them their blessing. The film closes on a hopeful note as the couple steps into a life together, culminating in a joyful marriage that signals a new beginning beyond crime.
