Yor, the Hunter from the Future

Yor, a roving hunter, traverses the Cappadocia desert and confronts a stegoceratops. He kills the beast with his axe and drinks its blood, proving his deadly prowess. The village befriends him, and a feast is held in the creature's honor.

A band of bluish cavemen attacks the village, causing chaos and forcing many villagers to flee. Yor and Pag manage to escape, while Kalaa remains a focal point of danger. Yor swears to retrieve Kalaa and protect her.

Yor and Pag track the blue cavemen to their lair. Yor shoots a giant bat with his bow and uses the corpse as a hang-glider to storm the cave. He floods sections of the cavern to hinder the defenders and escapes with Kalaa; the flood kills everyone inside, including the blue cavemen and the kidnapped villagers.

Yor, Kalaa, and Pag encounter a mysterious society of sand-dwelling mummies led by Roa, a blonde woman who bears an amulet similar to Yor's. Yor spares Roa, convinced she could be important for their journey, while Kalaa tries to kill Roa. They are attacked by more blue cavemen, and Roa is struck down and dies in Yor's arms.

After saving some children from a dimetrodon, Yor, Kalaa, and Pag befriend another desert tribe. The tribe is later killed by unseen flying saucers firing lasers, a devastating blow that steels the group for what lies ahead.

The trio travels by boat to a storm-surrounded island, where Yor learns that his parents came from a small band of nuclear survivors. This revelation shows that Yor’s world is actually post-apocalyptic Earth, setting the stage for a larger struggle against remnants of technology.

Yor finds unlikely allies in Ena, a scientist, and a mysterious blind Elder, who have been plotting to overthrow the Overlord for years. The new alliance provides Yor with a path to challenge the tyrant and his android army.

Guided by Ena, they reach the fortress's stockpile and plant explosives to destroy it. The Elder stays behind to deactivate the android army, buying time for the others to flee as the Overlord closes in.

The Overlord engages Yor, briefly overpowering him. Yor grabs a pole and hurls it through the window, impaling the villain and mortally wounding him as he presses toward the stockpile.

Pag is cornered by the androids, but Ena and the rebels rush to his aid. The Elder deactivates the remaining androids just in time, ending the immediate threat to the group.

The group boards one of the Overlord's ships as the fortress begins to fall. The stockpile detonates behind them, and the ship lifts off to safety with Yor, Kalaa, Pag, Ena and the rebels on board.

As the ship sails away, the narrator notes that Yor plans to return to primitive tribes and use his advanced knowledge to prevent them from making the same mistakes as their forefathers. The ending leaves the future uncertain and hopeful.
