An elderly man in a quiet rural village opens a card from his youngest grandson, Yogesh Patel. The note hints at a hidden fortune tied to a marriage on a specific date, setting the family on a path of promise and pressure. The moment is the first thread in a larger scheme that will pull Yogesh into a web of debts and schemes.

In Mumbai, Yogesh's family consults an astrologer to understand the prophecy about Yogesh's future. They learn that Yogesh will inherit a fortune if he marries on the 20th of the month. The astrologer links this destiny to the family’s well-being, and a phone call confirms Yogesh will be the sole heir.

Yogesh, now successful in Chicago, receives a text that his father Bharat has suffered a heart attack and must rush to Mumbai. He leaves everything behind and heads to India to be with his family. The crisis foreshadows the looming complications surrounding Jitu's gambling debts.

Upon arriving in Mumbai, Yogesh learns that Jitu lied about Bharat's condition. Jitu is entangled in gambling debts and owes 25 million rupees to a gangster, with jail as a looming threat. Yogesh is pressed into a dangerous bargain: marry to settle the debt and save the family.
