Unni and Krishnaveni ask Ilango and Anirudh to accompany them to Kerala for a cousin’s wedding, but the brothers refuse. This causes Unni to become angry and he leaves them with his mother and Krishnaveni. Family pressure intensifies.

Sowmya’s mother learns of Krishnaveni’s pregnancy from Sowmya. She speaks harshly about Ilango’s family, prompting Ilango to eavesdrop and confront her, leading to a breakup with Sowmya.

Anirudh reveals that he was bullied at school and responded by defending himself. Ilango and Anirudh realize their love for their parents and the importance of family unity.

In Kerala, Ilango's elder sister-in-law and sister tease Krishnaveni for her late pregnancy. For the first time, Unni’s mother defends her daughter-in-law and condemns the others’ harsh attitudes.

Upon returning home, Ilango reconciles with his parents and begins fulfilling his duties as a son. The familial bonds begin to heal.

Krishnaveni tells Ilango to apologise to Sowmya’s mother, and he agrees reluctantly for his mother’s sake. He admits that he misses Sowmya and explains that he accepted the pregnancy because of her.

After the baby shower, Krishnaveni goes into labour and is taken to the hospital. Chief Minister LKG is admitted for heart pain at the same time, providing a brief comic/serious moment.

Sowmya’s mother forgives Ilango, and Sowmya visits him in the hospital. The delivery results in a baby girl, and the family celebrates with a group selfie.
