Frank Collins, Reno Wilson, is a best-selling author who struggles with writer’s block as he tries to craft his next novel. He and his wife, Emma Collins, Roxana Ortega, juggle mounting bills and the pressures of keeping their home intact while Frank searches for a fresh story to tell. The tension at home deepens when Emma’s hard-working, stubborn father, Eduardo, Danny Trejo, a former convict and retired lawyer, comes to live with them.
