Raja, Raja, is the son of a renowned lawyer Tiger Dayanidhi. He moves through life as a charismatic playboy, sweeping each new girl off her feet with grand declarations of love, only to abandon the relationship soon after. This pattern becomes almost a default mode for him, a routine that hides a flippant attitude toward commitment beneath smooth talk and flashy displays.

Radha, Radha, grows up in a middle-class family and crosses paths with Raja when his tricks work on her as well. She believes in the connection they share, and Radha yields to his advances, fostering a bond that seems to promise real affection beyond mere flirtation. As their relationship deepens, the possibility of lifelong love begins to feel within reach.

When Radha discovers she is pregnant, she asks Raja to marry her, but he writes off the relationship. Radha resists her parents’ urging to terminate the pregnancy and chooses to have the child, deciding to take Raja to court to prove paternity. She leaves home and seeks the help of Sakunthala, a leading lawyer who champions women’s rights. Sakunthala, a formidable figure in her own right, takes up Radha’s case with resolve and professional poise.

Sakunthala’s own past echoes Radha’s predicament: she had been the lover of [Tiger Dayanidhi], and when she became pregnant, he deserted her, leaving behind an illegitimate daughter. Determined not to repeat history, Sakunthala takes Raja to court on Radha’s behalf. In the courtroom, Dayanidhi fights for his own son, but Sakunthala’s case prevails. The court declares that Raja is the father of Radha’s child, yet it leaves the decision about marriage to the couple themselves, rather than mandating a specific outcome.

The case draws attention from the press, and Radha, speaking to the media after the verdict, clarifies that her goal was not simply a public win but legitimacy for her child. She states that she is satisfied with the verdict and intends to live independently. Tragedy unfolds as Sakunthala suffers a heart attack and, before passing away, entrusts her daughter to Radha’s care.

Years pass. Raja, now married for several years and living with a wife who remains unable to bear children, unexpectedly encounters Radha again. He learns that Radha has raised her son, Suresh, by herself. Suresh grows into a bright, well-adjusted, and capable young boy—talented in his own right—shaping a quiet, hopeful future for himself and for the family he inspires.
