Qin Guoli, portrayed by Jackson Lou, is a Chinese accountant living in Great Britain who becomes entangled in a perilous scheme. He is coerced by Maasym, the leader of the notorious terrorist group Brothers of Vengeance, to finance nefarious projects, which include the procurement of weapons of mass destruction and the sale of valuable artifacts. Following Qin’s tip-off to Scotland Yard, a military operation led by US forces results in Maasym’s demise. However, his son Omar, played by Iyad Hoorani, survives and is determined to claim his father’s fortune, knowledge of which rests solely with Qin.

To achieve this, Omar enlists the Arctic Wolves, a mercenary gang that abducts Qin and his new wife, Meiwei, amid the vibrant celebrations of the Chinese New Year in London’s Chinatown. An international security company, Vanguard, is soon on the scene, tasked with rescuing Qin. Vanguard dispatches agents, including Jackie Chan as Tang Huating, along with Lei Zhenyu, played by Yang Yang, and Mi Ya, portrayed by Miya Muqi, to bring him back to safety.

After the successful rescue mission, Qin enlists Vanguard’s help to protect his daughter Fareeda, played by Ruohan Xu, who is in Africa and at risk of being used as leverage by Omar. The team, consisting of Tang, Lei, and Mi Ya, embarks on a treacherous journey to Africa to locate Fareeda, only to confront not just the Arctic Wolves, but a violent poaching operation led by Tunda. In a tense turn of events, Lei and Fareeda become separated from the group and take refuge in the jungle, while Tang and Mi Ya are forced to navigate their way through the jungle using satellite tracking.

The action escalates as Tang, Mi Ya, and the rest of their team regroup to engage in a thrilling river chase involving an amphibious vehicle and jet skis. Their daring pursuit leads them to a dire situation where Lei and Fareeda are captured by the mercenaries. Broto, the leader of the Arctic Wolves, proposes a trade that centers around Qin, who eagerly agrees to the terms.

In a gripping climax, Tang assembles his team for a final raid on Omar’s fortified stronghold in Jiadebala, transforming their dire circumstances into a daring mission of rescue. Using clever tactics, they infiltrate the hall through the sewer systems, only to discover that their enemies had anticipated their move, plunging the group into a fierce firefight.

As chaos erupts, Qin sacrifices his freedom to enable the agents’ escape, setting the stage for a heart-pounding conclusion in Dubai. Here, they collaborate with local authorities to thwart Omar’s ambitions, which include completing his father’s aborted arms deal. The climax unfolds at a car dealership where gold is exchanged for dangerous weaponry. Eventually, Omar attempts to utilize a missile drone against those who wronged him, but the Dubai police, tipped off by internal sources, intervene just in time.

The film culminates in a thrilling showdown in a shopping mall, where both Omar and Broto are apprehended, bringing a wave of relief to the protagonists. They wrap up their harrowing journey with a joyful celebration of the Chinese New Year in the vibrant city of Dubai, marking a triumphant end to their perilous escapades.
