Vampyres

Fran and Miriam are shot to death in the rural English country house and rise again as vampires. They begin luring unsuspecting visitors to the dilapidated estate to feed on their blood. The supernatural awakening sets the stage for a predatory nightmare that haunts the countryside.

A young couple drives through the countryside and decides to camp their caravan near the estate. They settle in for several days, unsettled by the ominous atmosphere that hangs over the house. Harriet's unease grows as she senses something is watching them.

Harriet tells John she saw Miriam hiding behind a tree when they passed Fran. The sight unsettles them and deepens their suspicion about the two women. They remain wary of the house as dusk approaches.

During a rainstorm, Harriet notices lights inside the house and a silhouette peering toward the caravan. John investigates but finds nothing conclusive, leaving them uneasy. The eerie phenomenon foreshadows the danger within the estate.

Ted, a middle-aged man, passes by and witnesses a single-car accident. Fran appears as a hitchhiker and gains a ride from him to the house. Inside, they share a passionate encounter, and Ted leaves with a wound on his arm that will trouble him later.

After waking up without Fran, Ted stops at John and Harriet's caravan for coffee and to have his wound bandaged. They treat him warmly and he waits there for Fran’s return. He remains unaware of the horrors unfolding at the estate.

Fran returns to the estate at dusk, accompanied by Miriam and a young man named Rupert whom they have lured there. Their arrival signals the escalation of the predators' scheme. Rupert is introduced to the house's unsettling atmosphere.

That night, after Ted falls asleep, Fran and Miriam murder Rupert and feed on him. They carefully hide the body and continue their later, intimate bond as sisters. The murder reveals the chilling ritual behind their predation.

The next morning, Harriet follows Fran and Miriam into the woods and passes through a church graveyard, trying to uncover the truth about their secret. She senses danger but presses on, determined to learn more. Her curiosity pulls her deeper into the estate's dark mystery.

Ted departs in his car and stumbles upon another road accident, horrified to discover Rupert is the victim. The eerie coincidence reinforces the sense that the murdered people around the estate are connected. He becomes entangled in the estate's grim web.

That night, Fran and Miriam return to the house and find Ted in the wine cellar. They begin feeding on his arm wound as he lies submissively, draining his strength. The predation continues as he remains trapped in the cellar.

Harriet eventually enters the house and finds Fran and Miriam sleeping in darkness in the wine cellar. John confronts Harriet and ushers her out, worried they will be cited for trespassing amid the carnage. The living are increasingly caught in the sisters' brutal cycle.

The sisters lure a self-assured playboy to the cellar and stab him to death. The murder shows the cold efficiency of their predatory partnership. The estate is becoming a site of blood and secrets.

John attempts to drive to safety but is murdered by Fran and Miriam in the car. The brutal act closes one line of resistance against the vampires' invasion. Harriet and Ted are left to confront the aftermath of the killings.

Harriet is dragged into the wine cellar and her throat is slit as dawn approaches. Ted, weakened, staggers back to his car. A realtor later arrives and relays to a visiting elderly couple that the property is haunted by two murdered women.
