Unstoppable

Veteran engineer Frank Barnes and his new co-worker Will Colson start their day in the Allegheny and West Virginia Railroad. They are tasked with an assignment that will set into motion the events of the day ahead.

During their assignment, Will mistakenly adds five extra train cars to their load, an oversight he realizes only after they leave the yard. Frank, unwilling to double back, insists they must continue on their route, sowing the seeds for the day's chaos.

At the same time, Dewey and Gilleece receive orders to move locomotive #777. In a reckless decision, Dewey leaves the air brake hoses unconnected, which ultimately leads to disaster as the train becomes a runaway.
