Thangaiah, a government bus driver and Guru's father, tries to guide his son away from JK's criminal orbit. Dhamodharan's goons capture Gundurao and learn the diamonds' location. Megha calls JK to report Guru's supposed departure from violence, but she witnesses Guru being chased by Dhamodharan's men. The discovery broadens the danger surrounding the diamonds.

The next day, Thangaiah drives the bus carrying the hidden diamonds and is taken hostage by Dhamodharan's men. Dev rushes to rescue the passengers in a hair-raising chase that ends with Thangaiah sustaining a head injury. The incident exposes how far violence has reached their lives.

Dev retrieves the diamonds and hands them over to JK, criticizing JK's violent methods and urging him not to hurt Guru for money. In the hospital, Thangaiah reads Dev's love letter to Megha and realises Dev's love for her. He pleads with Guru to distance himself from Megha for her own good.

Chatterjee traps Guru into working for him, exploiting Guru's desire to be hated by Megha. Megha confronts JK and seeks his help to reunite with Guru, unaware of Guru's new allegiance. JK begins to reform for Guru's sake, setting up a clash of loyalties.

Dev learns Megha loves Guru and chooses to step aside to help them be together, concealing his own feelings. He prioritizes Megha's happiness over his own romance and resolves to support the couple's future. The triangle shifts as Dev shifts focus to their happiness.
