Adisesha Naidu, [Nassar], heads Bhudevipuram, a village where family ties and land disputes intertwine with every decision. His two marriages create a sprawling brood: from his first wife Tulsamma he has two sons, Bose Babu and Jagadish Naidu, and from his second wife Arjunamma, he raises Ganga Bhavani, Kumari, and Bujji, a mute son. Arjunamma, [Maala Parvathi], steps in after Tulsamma’s death during Jagadish’s birth, adopting Bosu and Jagadish as her own children and bringing them all up as a blended, tightly knit clan. In the early days, Jagadish, a devoted brother, treats Arjunamma with respect and care, while Bosu quietly nurses a growing resentment. He believes he is the rightful heir to his father’s wealth and resents the idea that his sisters share in the legacy.
Budevipuram’s peace often unsettles over property, a fault line Adisesha Naidu tries to smooth out with his steady hand. The family’s harmony is tested when a feud nearby leaves Veerendra’s father dead, feeding Veerendra’s hatred for the Adisesha clan. After Adisesha’s sudden cardiac arrest, Bosu seizes the moment to pressure the village advocate and push for a will that consolidates all assets in his hands. In secret, he forms a dangerous pact with Veerendra, arranging for Chandra, the daughter of Arjunamma, to be married to Veerendra’s brother in exchange for a stake in a windmill project. The deal sparks a fracture in the family, and Bosu publicly ostracizes Arjunamma and his half-siblings, seizing control of the family’s fortune.
When Jagadish returns from the city to confront these injustices, he is appointed as the MRO of the village with the district collector’s backing, a role that gives him the power to confront the misdeeds his brother has committed. He finds Chandra, who has suffered domestic abuse, and resolves to help her escape the toxic arrangement she’s been drawn into. Jagadish’s intervention is signaled by a remote light on the terrace, a quiet beacon of trouble for Chandra who uses the signal to reach out for aid. The lack of a No Objection Certificate for the windmill project drives Veerendra to cheat Bosu, taking ₹5 crore from the project owner Somaraju, a betrayal that fractures the already fragile bonds between Bosu and Veerendra.
As tensions rise, Arjunamma’s true role in the family’s history emerges. Jagadish learns that Arjunamma is his biological mother, and that he and his sisters share more of Adisesha Naidu’s blood than Bosu ever realized. This revelation shatters Bosu’s certainty about the inheritance and begins to mend old wounds, though many in the village still doubt Jagadish’s intentions. The misunderstandings intensify when it’s believed that Jagadish is chasing wealth, a notion that alienates him from several family members—except Bosu and Chandra, who see the truth in his actions.
The conflict comes to a head when Bosu visits Veerendra to secure the 5 crores necessary to repay Somaraju. Veerendra and his brother refuse and strike back, plotting to kill Bosu and Chandra. Chandra, sensing the danger, triggers the terrace signal once more, and Jagadish arrives just in time. In the ensuing confrontation, Jagadish defeats Veerendra and his brother, bringing Bosu and Chandra back to the family. The act catalyzes a change in the entire clan; they begin to acknowledge their mistakes and start rebuilding trust with one another.
In the aftermath, Jagadish marries Gummadi Varalakshmi, the VRO, [Ritu Varma], and is assigned to a new village notorious for corruption. Rather than retreat from the flaws he sees, he chooses to confront them head-on, prepared to implement reform and restore faith in local leadership. The story closes on a note of renewed unity: the family, once divided by envy and secrecy, now faces the future together, strengthened by the truth that brought them back to each other.
