Trouble Maker

San is punished by his father for playing a trick on his new step grandmother. This neglect makes him feel unseen and unloved. He decides to run away from home to escape the cold treatment and starts a new life on his own.

In the park, a woman chasing San hits Tat with a bat. Tat retaliates using the bat but accidentally strikes a police officer. Fearing arrest, Tat and San flee together and form a wary alliance. The incident marks the beginning of their intertwined fates.

San follows Tat back to his home and ends up accompanying him to the city high school where Tat works as a groundskeeper. Tat is reluctant but agrees to let the boy stay with him for a while. This bond pulls Tat toward a protective role in San's life.

Mo tries to win Jane's attention but is ignored. The new teacher is overwhelmed by the misfit class 5D and their constant pranks. Mo ends up in a tense moment with a biker, and his bravado is tested in front of Jane.

Eight teachers have already failed with class 5D. The school advertises for someone capable of handling the class and the deaf headmaster offers a HKD 500,000 salary to the right candidate. San encourages Tat to take the job, but Tat declines because of the class reputation. San suggests trying a martial arts approach to gain control.

San urges Tat to pursue martial arts training as a way to tame class 5D. Tat remains skeptical about the idea and worries about the class reputation. The suggestion plants a seed for the later training at the temple.

A monk apprentice visits to meet Tat, who initially dismisses him as a beggar. The monk demonstrates surprising abilities by flying away, leaving Tat astonished. The head monk later takes Tat as his apprentice after witnessing his persistence.

The head monk approves Tat to begin teaching Class 5D. Tat shakes off the prank patterns by enforcing strict discipline and boot camp style training. He helps the students to retake the quiz and demonstrates his resolve to transform them.

Tat visits the blind floral girl and offers to pay for her eye surgery, which costs HKD 500,000. She works to sell flowers to raise the money, demonstrating her determination to see again. Tat pushes forward with his plan to help her instead of conning others.

Mo asks Tat to hypnotize him to a past life, and Tat initially refuses. He eventually agrees, and the hypnosis awakens a Bruce Lee persona in Mo, enabling him to defeat a persistent biker. The incident helps Mo win Jane's interest and changes their dynamic.

Tat intervenes to stop the fight between Mo and the biker, but the disruption leads to him being fired from teaching and losing the bonus meant to fund the blind girl's surgery. He leaves the school with a sense of failure and regret. The decision marks a turning point in his life.

Desperate to help, San and Tat go to San's father home to retrieve money from the safe. San hesitates and then passes the money to Tat, who leaves San behind as he heads off to help the blind girl. The scene deepens their strained relationship.

Tat uses the stolen funds to support the blind girl's surgery and then returns to San's father to confess his crimes and pledge to repay. He decides to live honestly, taking on various jobs as a homeless man. He later visits the blind floral shop but she does not recognize him because he has not spoken.

Tat continues to live a life on the move, but is finally reunited with San when San runs away from home again. The pair acknowledge their shared journey and resume their intertwined paths in a new chapter.
