The film opens with a slideshow narrated by Ebet, a ten-year-old boy from Manila's Tondo district. He describes the poverty and crime shaping life there and explains how children hope to make a name for themselves in such an environment.

After witnessing his mother having sex during the Lakbayaw festival, Ebet leaves the house. He follows three adolescents—Memey, Pongke, and Dennis—into the streets, drawn toward the rough world around them.

While tagging graffiti at night, the trio encounters Totoy Turat, a Sacred Brown Tribe member who has been murdered. Plainclothes police arrive and arrest Memey, while the others flee, fearing the charge might stick.

The next morning Makoy, a prominent member of the Sacred Brown Tribe, is awakened by his father, who laments the killing and worries about his son’s gang ties. The tense talk foreshadows further violence to come.

Makoy and Ghe-Ghe meet with Mogs, who brings along Ebet to confirm Memey’s innocence. The group discusses upcoming plans and assigns Ebet to spy on the rival Diablos.

Dennis arrives and is pressed to help forge an alliance with Pongke’s Thugz Angels to exact revenge on the Diablos. Makoy asks for a meeting with Pongke to coordinate their retaliation.

Ebet goes to the Diablos’ hangout to observe who is present, then returns to Makoy with the news. Makoy, meanwhile, smuggles a bag of weapons out of his home to strengthen the Sacred Brown Tribe.

Thugz Angels arrive, led by Pongke, offering weapons but explaining they cannot fight alongside the Sacred Brown Tribe because Memey’s possible incarceration could cause trouble. The tension between the gangs deepens as stakes rise.

The two gangs gather by Turat’s coffin and freestyle together, a ceremonial display of unity that masks the looming violence. The crowd senses that a violent confrontation is imminent.

Katherine arrives to console Turat’s mother, while Makoy instructs Dennis to look after his sister. The moment underscores personal ties amid escalating gang feuds as the groups prepare to move forward.

The Sacred Brown Tribe meets at Mogs’ house, arms themselves, and heads to the Diablos’ hangout. The clash turns chaotic and the SB Tribe is decimated as Mogs, Ghe-Ghe, and Makoy are killed, while the surviving members retreat.

Ebet, unseen, grabs Makoy’s gun and runs off in the confusion. Dennis bids farewell to Katherine as she boards a jeepney to work, signaling a personal turn in the violence.

The Diablos find Dennis alone on the street and stab him, killing him before fleeing. The attack sharpens the cycle of vengeance driving the street war.

Pongke, enraged by his brother’s death, hunts down the Diablos and kills them in retaliation. The violence escalates as revenge hardens into a grim new norm.

Ebet returns home to hide from the police and spots his mother having sex with another man. He brandishes Makoy’s gun and enters his mother’s bedroom, signaling a troubling descent into the cycle of violence he witnessed.
