Transformer

The film opens in Iacon City on Cybertron, where a miner bot named Orion Pax is introduced. He secretly explores an old building and discovers an archival recording about the planet's origin, detailing how Primus created Cybertron and the Transformers.

As Orion is caught by two larger Transformer guards, he makes a desperate escape. He encounters his best friend, D-16, who distracts the guards, enabling Orion to sneak away in a cart.

At the mining site, Elita-1 leads Orion and D-16 as they work tirelessly to extract Energon. When an unstable reaction occurs underground, Orion and D-16 prioritize saving Jazz from falling rubble, defying Elita's instructions to evacuate.

Sentinel Prime broadcasts a message to the citizens of Cybertron, announcing his search for the Matrix of Leadership. He reminds everyone about the upcoming Iacon 5000 race, which intrigues Orion and D-16.

On the day of the Iacon 5000, Orion surprises D-16 with jet packs they can use to participate in the race. Despite initial reluctance, they capture the attention of Sentinel and Elita but ultimately lose.

Following the race, Orion and D-16 are demoted to smelting due to Darkwing's intervention. Here, they meet Bee, who reveals a distress beacon from Alpha Trion, leading them to believe they can find the lost Matrix.

The trio of Orion, D-16, and Bee sneak past security and board a train to the surface. Joined by Elita, they witness the rapid growth of Cybertron's landscape due to Energon before their train crashes.

In a cave, they find the lifeless bodies of the Primes. Orion revives Alpha Trion using Energon, who reveals Sentinel's betrayal during the war against the Quintessons, exposing his unworthiness.

The group learns of Sentinel's dealings with the Quintessons, including that he was responsible for the Energon drought. Trion grants them the transformation cogs, empowering them as new Transformers.

After receiving their new abilities, the bots are confronted by Airachnid and Sentinel's goons. They rally to fight back, but Trion is captured and killed by Sentinel, escalating their conflict.

D-16 challenges Starscream for leadership among the High Guard after a failed attack. This inspires the group to unite against Sentinel and reclaim their freedom.

As they prepare for battle, Orion and Elita attempt to gather miners to confront Sentinel. They share the details of his betrayal, igniting a rallying cry among the bots.

The Autobots confront Sentinel's forces in a climactic battle with the fate of Cybertron at stake. D-16 stands poised to kill Sentinel, but Orion intervenes, leading to tragic consequences.

After sacrificing himself, Orion is deemed worthy by the 13 Primes and Primus, reborn as Optimus Prime. He embraces his new role and vows to protect Cybertron.

Optimus Prime leads the newly formed Autobots against Megatron, who renames himself as he gathers forces to oppose Optimus. The two transformers set their opposing futures into motion.
