After watching The Nutcracker, Jerry and his ward Tuffy are pulled into the story by a magic miracle, stepping from the stage into a wintry wonderland where the toys gather for a grand dinner. The moment feels festive, and among them is La Petite Ballerina, Tara Strong, whose graceful presence anchors the scene as the music box dancer to be found in the chaos to come. Yet the celebration is short-lived; the magic also touches Tom and the cats, led by the King of the Cats, who crash the feast and trap the toys. Jerry, a decoration named Paulie the pixie, Ian James Corlett, and a toy horse named Nelly Kathleen Barr — who can only speak when someone pulls her string — scramble to intervene, but are blasted from a cannon and hurled far away.

Tom traps La Petite Ballerina in a cage and brings her to the King of the Cats, who uses the moment to rally his feline followers. The King, determined to crush Jerry for good, forms a posse to destroy him, while the Ballerina Toy’s plea prompts Tuffy to secretly follow the cats to warn Jerry. Guided by a glimmering star, Jerry, Tuffy, and their new allies vow to seek help from the Toy Maker, the craftsman who created the toys, hoping he might restore order to their fractured world. Tom pursues them through a sequence of magical realms, and along the journey, Nelly is captured by the cats and forced to reveal where the others are headed, leaving her feeling betrayed by the very friends she’s trying to protect. The trio finally reaches the Toy Maker, who repairs Paulie after the strain of travel and grants him life as a real toy.

The Toy Maker warns that time is running out: if Jerry cannot reclaim his kingdom before the sun fully rises, the cats will control it forever, and he entrusts them with a key that can awaken an army of toy soldiers. With renewed determination, the three depart, leading their new army to reclaim the kingdom. When the cats attempt to escape the line of defense, the Ballerina rises to free herself and the other toys, spearheading a bold stand against the Cat King. In a tense turn, Tom traps Jerry and Tuffy in his mouth, but Nelly returns to break them free. Jerry presses the pursuit, driving the cats out of the kingdom and back toward the real world just as the sun begins to rise. A battle-damaged wall collapses, and Nelly sacrifices herself to shield Jerry and the Ballerina Toy, allowing them to escape. The miracle returns, restoring Nelly and enabling her to speak without her string.

In the end, the entire adventure is revealed to be a play witnessed by the Ballerina from the Nutcracker and the Toymaker/Santa Claus, transforming the events into a story told within a story on the stage.
