Beloved and dedicated priest Sang-hyun, portrayed by the acclaimed Kang-ho Song, hails from a small town and eagerly volunteers for a medical experiment aimed at developing a vaccine against a deadly virus. His selfless act, however, leads to dire consequences when the experiment goes awry, transforming him into a vampire after receiving an infected blood transfusion.

As he grapples with the profound physical and psychological changes that accompany his new existence, Sang-hyun finds himself drawn to Tae-ju, the repressed wife of his childhood friend, played by Ok-bin Kim. Feeling trapped in her mundane life, Tae-ju seeks Sang-hyun’s help to break free from her oppressive reality, sparking a forbidden affair that plunges him further into despair and depravity.

Sang-hyun’s journey reveals his inner turmoil as he battles his cravings for blood and struggles to maintain the remnants of his famed humanity.
