The Wedding Guest

Jay, a young British man, arrives in Lahore, Pakistan, with a stash of passports. Using his fake British identity, he hires a car and begins his journey toward Younganabad.

In Faisalabad, Jay purchases two guns along with duct tape, a suitcase, and other supplies necessary for his plan. This preparation is critical for the operation he has set in motion.

Jay sneaks into a wedding house where he claims to be a friend of the bride's brother, Hasan. He silently observes security measures and positions, preparing for his mission.

Under cover of night, Jay kidnaps the bride, Samira, from her home as everyone sleeps. He kills a guard who intercepts him, making a frantic escape with Samira in the trunk of his car.

Jay gives Samira an ultimatum: return to her family and marriage or run away with him to join her boyfriend, Deepesh. Samira chooses the latter, not wanting an arranged marriage.

Jay creates new identities for himself and Samira. He claims that they are siblings from Karachi on a trip to visit the Golden Temple, as they plan their escape into India.

Jay and Samira successfully cross the border into India using fake passports. They head to Amritsar, anticipating a rendezvous with Deepesh, who is supposed to meet them there.

Upon arriving in Amritsar, Deepesh does not show up at the designated hotel as agreed. This unexpected delay forces Jay to buy multiple phones and SIM cards to contact him.

Jay finally meets Deepesh in Delhi, where he demands his payment for the kidnapping. Deepesh, anxious over media coverage, offers Jay a more substantial amount to abandon Samira.

During a meeting in Jaipur, tensions explode between Jay and Deepesh. After a violent argument about the diamonds and Samira's fate, Jay ends up beating Deepesh to death.

Jay and Samira, now wary of each other's trustworthiness, agree to split the diamonds they retrieved from Deepesh. They check into a hotel using Deepesh's passport, planning their next move.

Instead of heading toward Nepal as publicly stated, Jay and Samira secretly plan to move south to Goa. Samira sews the stolen diamonds into her dress, ensuring they are hidden.

In Goa, Jay and Samira settle into a beach house, giving in to their emotions and attraction. However, Samira's desire for freedom leads her to leave Jay one morning with most of the money.

Samira, despite initial plans to stay with Jay, decides to leave for her new life. She expresses her gratitude and asks Jay to be there for her if she ever needs anything.
