The Untold Story

In 1978 Hong Kong, Wong Chi-hang brutally assaults a gambler named Keung after he refuses to lend him money. This violent encounter escalates quickly, leading Wong to destroy his identification documents and vanish, crafting a new identity for himself.

Fast-forward to 1986 Macau, where a family enjoying a beach day stumbles upon a disturbing bag filled with dismembered limbs. The police, led by Inspector Lee, soon arrive and begin their investigation into the gruesome find, identifying the victims as Bull, Robert, King Kong, and Bo.

Wong has assumed a new life working at the Eight Immortals Restaurant, where he finds a letter meant for the restaurant's owner, Cheng Lam. The letter stirs anxiety within Wong, revealing his obsessive desire to take control of the establishment amidst secrets surrounding him.

The investigation takes a chilling turn when forensic analysis links one of the dismembered arms to Chan Lai Chun, Cheng Lam's mother-in-law. This revelation heightens the intrigue, hinting at deeper connections and the unsettling fate of those involved.

As Wong tries to keep a low profile, a waiter catches him cheating at Mahjong, prompting a confrontation that escalates violently. In a horrifying act, Wong murders the waiter, dismembers him, and turns the remains into pork buns, discarding them in a dumpster to hide the evidence.

Inspector Lee begins to suspect something is off at the Eight Immortals Restaurant. Wong fabricates a story about purchasing the restaurant but is soon challenged when a co-worker reveals troubling correspondences from mainland China, igniting his paranoia.
