The Toxic Avenger

Melvin Ferd, a meek janitor at the Tromaville Health Club, endures constant harassment by Bozo, Slug, Wanda, and Julie. During a cruel prank involving a pink tutu and a staged romance, he crashes through a second-story window and falls into a drum of toxic waste, setting the transformation in motion.

Melvin is transformed into a hideously deformed being with superhuman strength and a new sense of justice. He adopts the moniker Toxic Avenger and vows to use his powers to fight crime and protect the innocent.

Toxie watches a drug dealer threaten children in a local park and steps in with brutal efficiency. He crushes the dealer's head with a barbell, establishing his brutal yet moral code.

Toxie confronts a gang terrorizing an elderly woman, displaying his enhanced strength and commitment to protecting the weak. He makes it clear that violence will be his instrument against crime.

Toxie encounters Sarah, a blind librarian who cannot see his grotesque appearance. Their relationship develops as she discovers Melvin's gentle nature, providing emotional grounding amid his rising violence.

Mayor Belgoody, corrupt and connected to criminal enterprises, teams with crime boss Cigar Face and the gym bullies to neutralize the Toxic Avenger. Their conspiracy deepens as they try to uncover Toxie's identity and his connection to Sarah.

Belgoody's forces kidnap Sarah to lure the Toxic Avenger into the open, escalating the stakes and pushing Toxie toward a final showdown. The act raises the danger and accelerates the plan to expose his identity to the town.

The final confrontation unfolds back at the health club, the site of Melvin's transformation. Toxie eliminates Belgoody's allies one by one, with Bozo meeting his end in the same toxic waste that created the monster.

Julie and Wanda meet grisly fates through inventive gym-related mechanisms, while Slug is dispatched in a deadly car incident. The brutal deaths reinforce Toxie's moral line and the cost of his war on crime.

Belgoody attempts to flee but is confronted by Toxie in the town square as the citizens witness his corruption being exposed. His death serves as public justice and a cleansing of Tromaville's decayed leadership.

Toxie and Sarah embrace as the townspeople hail the Toxic Avenger as Tromaville's protector, signaling a new era of safety. The couple finds a fragile happiness amid the chaos he's caused, and the city begins to accept him as its guardian.
