The Lost Medallion: The Adventures of Billy Stone

Back in the present, Billy and Allie at their father's archaeological site read from an old book. They realize the medallion was meant to be buried somewhere different from where their dad is searching. The discovery sets them on a quest into the forest to find the true resting place.

Armed with a homemade metal detector, the kids venture into the forest to locate the medallion. They are watched from the shadows by two men from a rival archaeology company who want the artifact for themselves. The presence of the rivals raises the stakes as the search unfolds in the trees.

A coronation party is held that celebrates the relic's power, but an enemy force arrives—led by the ancestors of the present-day goons. The villagers are seized, while Billy, Allie, Huko, and Anui stay free.

A river blocks their path and Allie is captured, forcing Billy to offer the medallion in exchange for her safety. After the exchange, the pair leap over a waterfall to escape. They decide to seek help from a mountain wise man.

The ancient wise man Faleaka tests the kids with quests designed to teach them how to defeat Cobra and reclaim the medallion. They endure hardship and learn teamwork through the trials. The journey continues toward Cobra's island.

On Cobra's island, the beach becomes a proving ground for their abilities. The wise man is slain by an arrow, leaving the children to carry on without his guidance. They are captured again but Billy stages a daring escape to join the others in a harsh camp.

In a climactic struggle, Cobra is defeated and the medallion is cast into a hellish pit with the artifact. The friends realize the relic's power is anchored to the past and that returning to their own time may not be possible. They resolve to carry the lessons back to the future and preserve the tale they lived.

Billy and Allie return to the present, landing in the foster home just as the goons who tied up Billy's father are revealed to be not their former evil selves. Billy lunges at them but is restrained by his father, who notes that time itself has shifted. Daniel closes the tale with a message about love and faith that transcends time.
