Giorgio Mainardi, a womanizer, plots to eliminate his wealthy wife Norma. After seeing a sinister figure dump a body, he hires the killer to murder her. The deed succeeds, but a young couple, Luca and Laura, unwittingly steal the assassin’s car, discovering Norma’s corpse in the boot. They flee to a beach house, where the killer tracks them, assaults Laura and kills a blonde stranger and Luca during a threesome. Laura eventually wounds her attacker, and the police grow increasingly suspicious of Giorgio.
