The Inheritance

On the eve of his 75th birthday, Charles Abernathy invites his family members, including his sons Drew and C.J., their sister Madeline, and social media celebrity Kami, to his mansion for his birthday celebration. Drew also brings his wife Hannah despite instructions that only blood relatives should attend. The gathering marks a rare reunion after two years apart.

Charles cryptically informs the family that there is a price on his head which will be collected at midnight, and only his blood relatives can save him. He warns that if he dies, his inheritance will be lost, indicating a dangerous situation involving someone wanting him dead. As the night progresses, the family begins experiencing minor supernatural disturbances inside the mansion. Kami encounters violent paranormal activity while alone in the indoor swimming pool. The atmosphere becomes increasingly tense as the family fears an unseen entity might be targeting them.

Kami is violently attacked and killed while she is alone in the pool room. Her body is discovered by the family, causing shock and fear among the remaining members. Charles comments that his family is cursed, and hints that the malicious spirit is gaining strength as midnight approaches.

Kami's ghostly presence frightens C.J. into falling over a banister, leading to his death. Madeline’s ghost then drains the life out of C.J., symbolizing the destructive power of the family curse and Charles' pact with the demon. The family is plunged further into chaos and death, escalating the threat.

Charles confesses that his deal with Mammon was the reason for his family's curse, and he had attempted to renegotiate his fate. Suddenly, he shoots Drew, attempting to kill him. Hannah intervenes, shooting Charles, who becomes trapped under a falling grandfather clock.

Hannah, armed with a shotgun, shoots Charles to the floor and warns him that Mammon is coming for him. She reveals she is pregnant with the family’s true heir, a granddaughter, shifting the focus from inheritance to the future bloodline. Charles's threats are thwarted as he is pinned down.

As the clock strikes midnight, Mammon, a shadowy demon, arrives and kills Charles, fulfilling the ancient pact. The mansion is left haunted by the spirits of the Abernathy children. The family curse is ultimately realized, as Charles's bloodline ends with him.

The next morning, the loyal butler Miles Hartmen returns to find the shocking scene inside the mansion. The family has succumbed to the supernatural forces, and Charles's demise marks the end of the bloodline as prophesied. Hannah survives the ordeal, now carrying the future heir.

Hannah departs from the mansion in a limousine, having survived the deadly night and supernatural curse.
