The Guardians

During the Cold War, a covert organization named Patriot establishes a covert initiative to combat superhuman threats. The program focuses on enhancing select individuals' DNA, assembling a team of Soviet superheroes to protect their homeland.

The newly formed team includes the powerful Arseniy, known as Arsus, who can transform into a bear-man. Other superheroes include the speedy Temirkhan, the earth-controlling Lernik, and the stealthy Xenia, each contributing unique abilities to the team's strength.

The Patriot program outperforms an earlier initiative called Module-1, which ultimately fails. This failure drives Professor Avgust Kuratov, the creator of Module-1, to flee deep into the wilderness as he seeks to continue his experiments in secrecy.

As military forces close in on him, Kuratov unleashes devastation on the Patriot laboratory, escaping unharmed thanks to a protective chemical layer. Reinventing himself as a cybernetic entity, he gains new powers, including electricity generation and machine manipulation.

In the aftermath of the chaos caused by Kuratov, the Guardians of the Patriot program retreat into hiding. This extended period serves as a break for the superheroes as they aim to evade the fallout from the failed mission.

Fast forward to the present day, a serious malfunction occurs with training robots which leads them to turn against their human supervisors. The tragic incident results in fatalities and prompts the Ministry of Defence to revive the Patriot organization.

Under Major Elena Larina's leadership, the revived Patriot organization embarks on a mission to locate their lost super agents. Her search leads her to various locations including Armenia, Kazakhstan, Siberia, and Moscow, where she finds her team members in unexpected places.

The Guardians attempt to infiltrate Kuratov's hidden laboratory but are quickly captured. Kuratov offers the Guardians a chance to ally with him, but they refuse, resulting in him imprisoning three of them and injuring Ler.

Kuratov heads to a military facility in Noginsk with his newfound power, aiming to seize control of military technology. He launches an offensive against Moscow, planning to use the Ostankino and Federation Towers for his nefarious Module-2 Project.

Reunited and armed, the Guardians launch their counteroffensive back in Moscow. They navigate the city, with incredible stunts and teamwork as they strategize to breach Kuratov's defenses and tackle his soldiers.

The Guardians engage Kuratov on the top of the towers but initially find themselves outmatched. With teamwork and bravery, they devise a plan to escape and regroup before the final showdown.

In a climactic moment, the Guardians join forces to unleash a powerful burst of energy that destroys Kuratov's beacon and seals his fate. As he plunges to his demise, they realize their identity as heroes, independent from their creator.

After their victory, the Guardians meet with Major Elena in a revitalized Moscow. Despite thoughts of returning to their normal lives, they acknowledge the possibility of serving the Patriot organization again in the future.

In a post-credits scene, Major Elena is seen overpowering a soldier, hinting at the arrival of new challenges. She cryptically suggests that the team should prepare as a new mission from Ferrum is on the horizon.
