After earning hero status as a World War I fighter pilot, he returns home and is swiftly reinstated as a detective for the railroad company. His inaugural assignment tasks him with retrieving a stolen satchel containing $25,000 in payroll, locating a missing employee, and bringing a gang of railroad thieves to justice.
