The First Purge

The story takes place in a turbulent mid-21st Century America, characterized by economic downturn and sociopolitical upheaval. Staten Island, one of New York City's five boroughs, serves as the battleground for the events of 'The First Purge.' Known for its diverse communities and serene parks, the island is starkly contrasted by the chaos that unfolds during the Purge. In the film, it becomes a microcosm of societal unrest and the extremes of human behavior.
