In the early 20th century American South, rising racial tensions lead three communities to enact a devastating purge, forcibly banishing hundreds of African Americans. As violence and chaos erupt, the communities grapple with the consequences of their actions, experiencing a profound sense of desperation and disillusionment. The events raise difficult questions about justice, morality, and the heavy price of blindly adhering to societal norms.
