The Evil That Men Do

In Suriname, Clement Molloch, known as The Doctor, brutalizes journalist Jorge Hidalgo with electric torture in a room crowded with government officials. The scene establishes Molloch as a sadistic figure who uses fear to send a message. The brutal act sets the tone for the rest of the story.

Outside, an Israeli Mossad team attempts to plant a bomb under the Doctor’s car. The mission starts with promise but quickly spirals into violence. The operation fails and one member is killed, revealing Molloch’s dangerous reach.

In the Cayman Islands, Holland enjoys a quiet, retired life far from his old life of assassination. The balance of peace is broken when an old associate asks him to take on Molloch. He initially refuses, clinging to the illusion of safety.

The death of Hidalgo and video testimonies from Molloch’s victims push Holland to act. He decides to search for the Doctor but wants to remain undercover as a family man. He travels to Guatemala with Jorge’s widow Rhiana and her daughter Sarah.

Max Ortiz, a friend, joins as a guide into Molloch’s world. Their first lead brings them to a cockfighting ring frequented by the Doctor. The ring hints at the brutal, dangerous world surrounding Molloch.

Holland notices a suspicious disabled-looking man tailing them and warns his group. The threat signals that Molloch’s reach extends beyond the Doctor’s doorstep. They press on toward Molloch’s compound.

Max ferries them to Molloch’s compound, offering a view of the scale and security around the Doctor’s operations. Holland returns undercover in darkness, mapping lights and cameras. He begins to plan their next moves.

In a local bar, a large man harasses Rhiana. Holland responds with decisive violence, crushing the aggressor’s testicles and then his neck as the crowd applauds. The escalation signals Molloch’s wide reach and danger.

To flush out Molloch’s men, Holland and Rhiana stage a ruse that lures a henchman back to their hotel for a volatile tryst, only to kill him with a knife. The danger grows, and Rhiana resolves to see the Doctor fall in person.

Holland abducts Molloch’s sister Claire from a hotel room, hiding as she leaves with her partner. A staged escape uses a fire hose tied around a captive to drop him from a balcony, creating a distraction for their flight. They flee to Max’s ranch.

Molloch’s local militia seizes Max and tortures him to reveal Holland’s hideout. The situation tightens as a call to negotiate reveals Molloch’s knowledge of their location. The trio presses on while danger closes in.

A fierce firefight and a chase with gunmen hired by the U.S. ambassador follow them. The pursuit ends in a deadly crash, and Claire dies trapped in the car trunk. The mission’s stakes escalate with a personal tragedy.

Holland and Rhiana purchase a farmer’s truck and press toward Magdalena, seeking aid from a local cafe owner. Holland arms himself for the confrontation ahead and prepares to lure Molloch into the open.

The trio corners Molloch at a mine. Disfigured miners insist on staying and memories of his cruelty resurface. The car’s chauffeur, who still clutches Sarah, is killed when Holland uses the distraction to act. The miners then kill Molloch with hammers and picks.

Holland, Rhiana, and Sarah return to the safety of Holland’s home in the Cayman Islands. The pursuit ends with a brutal but just resolution, and they begin rebuilding a fragile peace after a life-changing mission.
