The Dukes

Cousins Bo and Luke Duke are arrested in Hazzard County. Bo faces charges for reckless driving during his driver's ed exam, while Luke gets caught for setting off fireworks at a local carnival.

Bo and Luke are paroled to their Uncle Jesse's care, who is tasked with overseeing their summer work. Jesse continues the family's tradition of producing moonshine, a legacy that began over 80 years ago during Prohibition.

While attempting to visit the Boar's Nest, Bo and Luke witness Jesse meeting with Boss Hogg, where Jesse is arranging his bribe to the County Commissioner. They accidentally cause Hogg's prized pig to escape, leading to disastrous consequences.

After the pig incident, Boss Hogg demands a large sum of money from Jesse, or he will foreclose on the Duke farm. With only two weeks to pay, Jesse realizes he must rely on his illegal moonshine profits.

Bo and Luke decide to help Jesse by finding a fast car for delivering moonshine. They begin to brainstorm ideas and seek out some assistance, determined to save the family farm.

The boys enlist their cousin Daisy, who recently turned 18 but feels overlooked by boys. She takes them to the high school shop class to meet Cooter Davenport, who supplies them with a fast engine.

During a chaotic go-cart race through the school, Bo and Luke find themselves pursued by a hall monitor and angry girls. This wild chase adds to their list of troubles as they narrowly avoid serious consequences.

While at a local pond, Bo and Luke discover an abandoned 1969 Dodge Charger submerged in the water. They believe this car can be transformed to help them in their moonshine operation, marking the birth of the General Lee.

As Bo and Luke start delivering moonshine, everything seems to be going smoothly. However, their progress is suddenly halted when Boss Hogg declares Hazzard a dry county and offers a hefty reward for information on illegal operations.

Daisy becomes enamored with a bartender named Hughie and undergoes a makeover to catch his attention. Her efforts prove successful when she shows up looking stunning and secures a job at the Boar's Nest.

During a fundraising party, Jesse is arrested by Boss Hogg and Sheriff Rosco for illegal moonshine sales. This turns the Duke family's efforts upside down and puts them in a race to clear Jesse's name.

The Dukes learn of Boss Hogg's scheme to eliminate his competition by jailing ridge-runners while profiting from their illegal moonshine operation. This revelation drives them to act quickly to save their family.

In a daring move, the Dukes crash a campaign fundraiser and kidnap Boss Hogg. They threaten him with a perilous drive into Hogg Ravine unless he reveals his corrupt plans, which he begrudgingly does.

In a dramatic climax, the Dukes jump the General Lee over Hogg Ravine, showcasing their skills and bravery. This act leads them to uncover more illegal activities related to Hogg and to even collect a hefty reward.

Despite the Dukes' efforts and the citizens' demands for change, Boss Hogg finds himself re-elected. He swiftly pardons himself, illustrating the corrupt political system in Hazzard County.
