In the bustling urban landscape of Los Angeles, we meet Del Goodlow, played by Andrew Bachelor, who has always claimed the city’s streets as his home. Working alongside his father, Dre portrayed by Mike Epps, at their family-run gym, Del sees the place as more than just a business; it’s a refuge for local youth hoping to escape the grips of gang life and drug addiction. However, the gym now hangs precariously on the edge of financial ruin after Dre’s unexpected incarceration.
While serving time, Dre reaches out to Del with astonishing news: he has hidden away $1 million within the basement of a dilapidated flophouse. With this newfound knowledge, Del embarks on a hilarious yet perilous quest to retrieve the concealed fortune. However, upon arrival, he discovers that the flophouse has morphed into a rowdy fraternity house known as KAX.
Determined to access the basement, Del decides to masquerade as a fire inspector. Unfortunately, his Spanish-written badge leads to a laughable failure as he gets quickly caught. Not to be deterred, Del tries again, this time successfully infiltrating the fraternity via a series of outlandish initiation rituals that feature bat-spanking, toothbrush-cleaning, and a ridiculous baby costume celebration.
As Del’s street cred within KAX climbs, his cleverness kicks into high gear. He manages to snatch the hidden cash, but his triumph is short-lived when Brock—a fraternity brother—discovers the theft. Using his quick wit, Del persuades his fellow brothers that he’s innocent and they band together to unravel the true mystery of the missing money.
Their investigation leads them to a tense showdown at the gym, where Del’s friends find themselves caught in a precarious situation, held hostage by the notorious Uncle Leon, brought to life by Terry Crews, who has his own greedy plans for the money.
What follows is an uproarious, chaotic confrontation as Del, the KAX fraternity, his mother, and a local gang all converge, vying to gain control of the cash. In a surprising twist, Uncle Leon meets his fate during a standoff with the gang leader, inadvertently crushed by a plummeting air conditioning unit—an item his mother had been pleading him to repair.
In the end, amidst the mayhem, everyone manages to walk away with a slice of the cash, revitalizing the gym in the process. The KAX fraternity surprisingly earns acclaim for their genuine charitable work by stepping in to help renovate Del’s beloved family gym, marking a heartwarming conclusion to this wild adventure.
