The Domestics

In the aftermath of the attack, the surviving population divides into two factions: the Gangs and the Domestics. The Gangs exert control over specific territories with unique themes, while the Domestics seek a peaceful existence away from the brutality.

Mark and Nina West embark on a journey to Milwaukee to visit Nina's parents while grappling with the strains of their impending divorce. Their trip becomes increasingly perilous as society collapses around them.

While scavenging for essentials, Mark and Nina encounter fellow survivors Nathan Wood and his son, Steven. Their shared struggle fosters a brief bond, leading to an invitation for a meal at Nathan's home.

During their meal at Nathan's house, the Wests are confronted with a shocking revelation that the food they've eaten consists of human flesh. The gathering quickly turns tragic as danger approaches.

Amid the tension, a retracing Nailer attacks, injuring Nina and forcing Mark and Nina to flee. The Woods remain behind, facing an uncertain and grim fate as the chaos unfolds.

Mark and Nina seek refuge in an abandoned house, only to attract the attention of Betsy, a deserter from the Plowboys. Betsy's infatuation with Nina complicates their already precarious situation.

While scavenging for supplies, Mark is caught off guard and taken hostage by William Cunningham, a deranged individual. Mark soon finds himself coerced into a brutal fight against a massive slave under William's control.

In a fierce confrontation, Mark defeats the slave and ultimately kills William Cunningham. The freed slave expresses sympathy for Mark, leaving him with a message of forgiveness as he departs.

Reunited after their harrowing experiences, Mark and Nina explore the abandoned house. They stumble across an old car, which rekindles their connection, although they overlook its ties to the dangerous Gamblers.

Their obliviousness to the car's danger leads to the couple's capture by the Gamblers. Mark is forced to play a deadly game of Russian Roulette, leaving him wounded in the shoulder as they fight for survival.

During a moment of distraction, Nina seizes a gun and manages to escape, but not before enduring her own trials. She successfully makes her way to her parents' house, where she tends to Mark's injuries.

Upon arriving at her parents' home, Nina learns from neighbors that her parents have perished. The burden of the news weighs heavily on both her and Mark, exacerbated by the discovery of a stolen prized pistol.

As the Gamblers and Betsy track them down, a brutal gunfight ensues, escalating into chaos as the Plowmen join the fray. Mark and Nina bravely emerge victorious, pushing back the Gangs and securing their survival.

With the Gangs retreating, Mark and Nina share a tender moment, feeling the weight of their experiences. They tune into Crazy Al, who warns the Gangs that Mark and Nina should not be trifled with, signaling a new beginning.
