The Dogs of War

Jamie Shannon and his team, including Drew, Derek, Michel, Terry, and Richard, make a daring escape from Central America. They are pursued by dangers that drive them to seek new opportunities elsewhere.

Upon escaping, Shannon meets Endean, a British businessman representing a powerful tycoon. Endean proposes a risky venture in Zangaro, a small African nation rich in untapped resources.

Shannon travels to Clarence, the capital of Zangaro, to assess the political situation. There, he meets North, a British documentary filmmaker who informs him about the volatile governance of President Kimba.

During his stay, Shannon has a brief affair with a woman revealed to be Kimba's mistress. This reckless action draws the attention of local authorities, leading to his arrest and brutal treatment in prison.

In prison, Shannon meets Dr. Okoye, a compassionate physician who tends to his injuries. Their meeting reveals the potential for change within Zangaro’s political landscape.

After two days of captivity, North's continuous efforts towards justice lead to Shannon's release. This brief imprisonment alters Shannon’s perspective on his involvement in Zangaro's fate.

Back with Endean, Shannon dismisses a coup as unlikely but is swayed by the offer of $100,000 to lead a mercenary operation against Kimba. This offer comes with the promise of lucrative resource extraction.

Shannon reconnects with his contacts from Central America and gathers in London to finalize plans. They procure weaponry necessary for the upcoming invasion of Zangaro, including Uzi submachine guns and heavy ordnance.

As Shannon's plans unfold, North discovers his clandestine activities in London. Concerned for Shannon’s safety, he attempts to warn him, prompting Shannon to take precautionary measures.

A hitman sent by Endean eliminates North, raising Shannon’s fury and leading him to seek vengeance. This act escalates the tension between Shannon and Endean, intertwining their fates.

Shannon leaves North's assassin's body at Endean's estate during Colonel Bobi's dinner party. This bold move initiates a dangerous game of power and deception between the characters.

Shannon charters a freighter for a nighttime invasion of Kimba's military stronghold. Joined by Zangaran exiles and seasoned soldiers, they launch an attack that leads to chaos and destruction.

During the invasion, Drew confronts a woman and her baby, but tragedy unfolds when she shoots him. This moment of violence adds to the escalating consequences of their mission.

Shannon encounters President Kimba in his mansion while the dictator is gathering cash. With no hesitation, Shannon takes Kimba's life after rejecting the offered bribe for his own safety.

Endean arrives with Colonel Bobi, only to find Shannon and Dr. Okoye. In a twist, Shannon appoints Dr. Okoye as the new president of Zangaro, asserting his control and new direction for the country.

As the film concludes, Shannon and his crew load Drew’s body into a Land Rover. They drive through the desolate streets of Clarence, symbolizing both their loss and their journey toward an uncertain future.
