The Dirt Gang

A gas station robbery goes wrong and Monk blames Biff for bad luck. They flee into the desert as a policeman gives chase, and Willy is shot.

The Dirt Gang ambushes the pursuing officer, knocks him from his car, and torches the vehicle before driving off. They vanish into the wilderness as the law closes in.

The gang reunites with Padre, Biff, Stormy, and Big Beth at their desert camp. The Padre delivers an ominous prophecy about Armageddon and declares that they will survive only if they stay righteous.

Monk confronts Biff for not being with them and blames him for Willy's fate. Stormy and Beth sense foreboding as tensions rise among the group.

Monk becomes obsessed with Zeno after studying his poster and vows to hunt him across America. Biff tries to calm him, but the obsession only deepens.

The Dirt Gang heads toward Mexico to escape the police but stumbles upon a Western film crew filming on a hill above a set. They look down on the unsuspecting movie world with a mix of mischief and menace.

Mary, Zeno's girlfriend, is taunted in the film tent while Beth and the others laugh. Zeno confronts Monk, and the two acknowledge a shared history while sizing each other up.

Zeno explains that he is peaceful and avoids confrontation, but Monk insists that everything is here for him now. The encounter marks the moment when Monk's obsession with Zeno takes over and threatens everyone around.

Snake tries to molest Mary in a trailer, but Zeno rescues her and they flee into the desert in a dune buggy before being recaptured. Mary shows courage and grows closer to Zeno as they survive the kidnapping attempt.

Monk realizes Mary is his weakness and guards her during the aftermath. A crew member betrays Mary to Monk, who defeats the betrayer and lets Mary pursue Zeno.

During the assault in the trailer, Mary fights back as Snake begins to cut at her clothes while Monk watches with conflicting emotions. He hopes that Zeno will intervene, but the moment centers on Mary and Zeno's reactions.

To save Mary, Zeno agrees to a death duel with Monk and Snake stops molestation. Mary escapes with Zeno, leaving the others to watch in growing horror.

The Death Duel occurs on the street as Monk and Zeno race toward each other on bikes, then fight on foot and smash windows with their helmets. Monk is finally harpooned by a spear and dies at Zeno's hands.

Zeno and Mary leave arm in arm after the duel, while Biff and the Dirt Gang watch in disbelief. The prophecies have come true and Monk, once their king, lies fallen as their carefree days end.
