The Brothers Grimm

In the early 19th century, two brothers, Will and Jake Grimm, travel through French-occupied Germany as con artists. They leverage Jake's knowledge of folklore to deceive villagers, convincing them that they can eradicate mythical creatures.

The brothers arrive in Karlstadt, where they stage an impressive act of ‘killing’ a witch's ghost. The villagers are left in awe, reinforcing their reputation as supernatural problem solvers.

Their success is cut short when the brothers are captured by Cavaldi, a ruthless Italian torturer. He brings them before General Delatombe, who believes they are responsible for mysterious disappearances in Marbaden.

The general learns of a 500-year-old Thuringian Queen who has been abducting young girls in her quest for beauty. Her descent into darkness began with King Childeric I, who sought to build a vibrant town amid the forest.

Consumed by her obsession, the queen resorts to dark magic to maintain her beauty, but the cost has been the lives of ten young women. To achieve her goal, she needs twelve more victims to complete her horrific ritual.

The Grimm brothers, accompanied by Angelika, discover the queen's tower hidden deep in the woods. They unwittingly inflict a horrifying curse when their horse, infested with spider eggs, undergoes a terrifying transformation.

As chaos unfolds, General Delatombe arrives with alarming news about the events in the forest. The brothers are horrified to learn that their transformed horse has devoured a young girl, leading to an urgent pursuit in the woods.

After a series of harrowing events, the brothers and Angelika are taken to Delatombe's stronghold. Cavaldi threatens their very lives, but with wit and cunning, they convince the general that German rebels are to blame for the disturbances.

In the forest, the brothers' companions, Hidlick and Bunst, find themselves in a perilous situation when they encounter Sasha, a young girl. A fallen crow triggers chaos, leading Sasha to tragically transform into a mud creature.

Jake climbs the tower and discovers the tombs of the queen's past victims. With twelve empty crypts revealed, he realizes the magnitude of the queen's dark ambitions and her need for more victims to complete her ritual.

As French soldiers begin destroying the forest, Delatombe escalates his campaign against the Grimms. Cavaldi, torn between duty and his growing alliances with the brothers, contemplates his next moves.

Angelika's father, cursed by the queen, inadvertently drowns her in a heart-wrenching moment. The brothers rush towards the tower, where the queen conjures a fierce wind to counter the flames that threaten her domain.

General Delatombe, furious at the Grimms' escape, pursues them into the woods. A fierce battle ensues, culminating in Delembot's injury at the hands of the vicious queen and the unexpected betrayal of Cavaldi.

In a moment of recklessness, Jake shatters the mystical mirror that holds the queen’s enchantments. This act triggers a series of chaotic transformations, including the werewolf and other dark entities linked to her reign.

In a surprising twist, Angelika is revived by Jake’s tender kiss, along with the souls of the queen’s victims. As the darkness lifts, the villagers celebrate the brothers for their bravery, while Cavaldi renounces his wicked ways, joining the festivities.
