The Bourne Supremacy

Two years after his mysterious disappearance, Jason Bourne finds himself in Goa, India, with Marie Kreutz. As he grapples with unsettling flashbacks related to his life as a CIA assassin, he begins documenting his memories in an attempt to piece together his fragmented past.

In a different part of the world, Deputy Director Pamela Landy prepares a covert operation involving a $3 million deal with a mysterious Russian informant. This operation involves critical documents known as the Neski files, which are linked to a previous $20 million theft.

The operation is thwarted when Kirill, an agent of the Russian Federal Security Service, plants two bombs within the CIA building's electrical framework. One bomb detonates during the operation, allowing Kirill to execute the CIA agent and the informant, absconding with the stolen funds.

While in Goa, Bourne's life is turned upside down when he spots Kirill in the marketplace. A frantic chase ensues, leading to a tragic car chase where Kirill shoots and kills Marie, who had been switching places with Bourne for safety.

Devastated by the loss of Marie, Bourne decides to leave Goa. His journey takes him to Naples, where he seeks answers and attempts to understand the circumstances surrounding his violent past.

Back at CIA headquarters, Landy begins investigating Bourne's fingerprints but encounters challenges accessing his files, which are safeguarded under Project Treadstone. She consults with Director Ward Abbott, who reveals troubling details about Treadstone's operations.

Landy uncovers that the Neski files contain information about a Russian politician named Vladimir Neski. She reveals that Neski was poised to expose a thief involved in the $20 million heist but met his end in a murder-suicide with his wife.

In Naples, Bourne boldly allows himself to be identified by security. After overpowering his CIA interrogator, he retrieves a SIM card, which leads him to the realization that Landy and Abbott are conspiring against him.

Bourne travels to Munich to confront Jarda, another Treadstone operative. The encounter escalates into a deadly confrontation, where Bourne is forced to kill Jarda in self-defense while narrowly escaping the CIA.

Bourne reaches out to Landy from a nearby rooftop, confronting her about the claims that he has killed two CIA agents. He demands a meeting with Nicky Parsons, revealing the complexities of his hunt and the betrayals he has faced.

Bourne revisits the hotel linked to the Neski assassination, where intense recollection reveals his direct involvement in the deaths framed as a murder-suicide. This triggers a wave of guilt and pursuit of the truth.

After capturing Abbott in the hotel, Bourne overhears a conversation that incriminates Abbott and Gretkov regarding the $20 million heist. Abbott reveals that he had manipulated Bourne and orchestrated the Neski assassination, admitting to his role in Bourne's framing.

Following Abbott's confession, Bourne chooses not to kill him, showing respect for Marie's memory by leaving a loaded gun on the table. However, Abbott, consumed by the weight of his actions, takes his own life under pressure from Landy.

Bourne travels to Moscow to seek out Irena Neski, the daughter of his previous target. His mission is interrupted as Kirill reappears, resulting in a high-speed chase that leaves Kirill gravely injured.

In the aftermath of his ordeal, Bourne reaches out to Landy, who reveals his true identity as David Webb, complete with his birth date. Despite the invitation to meet, Bourne, caught in complexities, chooses to walk away with a poignant farewell.
