Carsten and Peter, two medicated low‑lifes and longtime partners, are drawn into a tangled family drama when Peter’s former lover arrives with news that she has a twelve‑year‑old daughter he has never met. The girl’s adoptive father is cruel, and their relationship is tinged with incestuous overtones. After the daughter escapes her adoptive father and seeks refuge with Peter, the trio—Carsten, Peter and the girl—flee together to Sweden.
