Lasse and Geir, two late‑teen suburban boys, cause a disturbance on a bus heading into town, prompting the driver to call the police. They are arrested, spend the night in a holding cell, and are released the next morning. Geir returns to an alcoholic mother, while Lasse goes back to a disillusioned, abusive father.
