Terror Toons

In the Cartoon Dimension, Doctor Carnage conducts a brutal experiment on a man, disemboweling him and pulling his skull out through his stomach. The scene establishes Carnage's savage methods and clear intent to cause chaos across realities.

Back on Earth, sisters Cindy and Candy are left with Cindy's friend Amy. They call Rick and Eddie to join them as Candy settles in to watch a Terror Toons DVD that arrived in the mail, setting the plot’s danger in motion.

The Terror Toons DVD depicts Doctor Carnage and his accomplice Max Assassin, along with a stolen lab monkey mutated into a monster gorilla by Carnage. As Candy watches, the characters seem to creep into the real world, foreshadowing the night of terror.

While playing Strip Ouija, Candy dozes off and awakens to Carnage and Max materializing in her room. They rip Candy's spine out and threaten others, including the beheading of Tommy and the dismemberment of a pizza delivery man, while a hypnotic disco number makes Eddie vomit his innards.

Cindy, Amy, and Rick try to escape, but every door has been replaced by vertigo-inducing spirals. The labyrinthine walls trap them and heighten the sense of danger.

Rick is seized by Carnage and Max and subjected to brain experiments while the others are trapped or killed. The villains’ power dynamics become the central obstacle for the remaining survivors.

A police officer, released from Terror Toons, is blown up by a hidden dynamite in a box of donuts, separating Cindy and Amy in the chaos. The explosive moment fractures their group and raises the stakes.

Cindy is captured by Carnage and, with a lobotomized Rick, is forced to watch as Carnage and Max saw Amy in half during a magic act. The brutal act cements the severity of their predicament in the cartoonish terror world.

In Cartoon Hell, the Devil explains that he intends to use Terror Toons to ravage Earth and corrupt children. Cindy realizes the cartoons bend reality and prepares to confront him, recognizing the larger danger.

Realizing the cartoons' limitless possibilities, Cindy becomes a superheroine and challenges the Devil. He sends her back to her house to face the looming threat and save her world.

Back home, Cindy discovers a machine producing Terror Toons DVDs. Max confronts her, but she uses her new powers to snap his neck and stomp his brain out, eliminating one key foe.

Carnage charges with a giant axe, but Cindy turns the weapon against him, slicing his head in half. Tiny monsters erupt from the split skull, and Cindy destroys the Terror Toons DVD press with a crowbar to end the threat.

Cindy and Candy's parents return from a wedding to a horrific scene: Rick banging his head against a wall while Cindy laughs hysterically, surrounded by the remains of her friends and sister. The home has become a silent testimony to the night's carnage.

Next door, a boy finds another Terror Toons copy in his mailbox, and the front door slams shut as Carnage giggles are heard. The film ends on a chilling note, implying the terror could return to haunt new victims.
