Rupa drives at breakneck speed through the Mussoorie hills and ends up at The Park Hotel, where she suddenly falls from the third floor while clutching something in her hand. The hotel and onlookers immediately treat it as a suicide, and investigators begin their initial inquiries. Rocky the drummer and Ruby the dancer witness the scene and are left questioning what really happened.

The crowd and hotel staff quickly declare Rupa's death a suicide as the investigation starts to unfold. Police collect evidence while rumors spread about Rocky and Ruby knowing more about her feelings for Rocky. The mystery surrounding Rupa's final moments hangs in the air over The Park Hotel.

One year passes since Rupa's death, and her ex-fiancé Ramesh tries to reconcile with Sunita, who remains grief-stricken. Sunita learns from Meena that Rupa had written a confession claiming deep love for Rocky, suggesting a possible motive for her death. She resolves to travel to Dehradun and Mussoorie to seek Rocky and uncover the truth.

During the journey toward Dehradun, Sunita meets Anil Kumar, a charming but mischievous young man who flirts with her throughout the trip. At The Park Hotel in Mussoorie, Sunita checks in with Meena, and Anil happens to be there too, continuing his playful courtship. This introduces a dangerous entanglement that will drive the plot forward.

Anil is revealed to be Rocky in disguise, but he keeps Sunita in the dark while a coworker, Salim Khan, poses as the fake Rocky to mislead her. He lies about wealth and a Dehradun mansion, while continuing to woo Sunita. Sunita, unaware of the ruse, begins to fall in love and confide in him about Rupa's death.

Kunwarsahab Mahender Singh, the actual owner of a Dehradun mansion, notices the deception and goes along with Anil’s disguise, protecting him and befriending Sunita. Sunita and her friends are entertained at Kunwarsahab's mansion as part of the ruse, deepening the web of intrigue. The lie grows more intricate as the truth begins to threaten exposure.

Sunita invites Anil and Kunwarsahab to meet with her father and discuss the marriage, while Anil asks Kunwarsahab to reveal the truth about him to Sunita. He explains that Rupa had fallen for him during her stay at The Park Hotel, complicating Sunita's suspicions and anger toward Rocky. Tensions between Sunita and Ramesh intensify as the wedding plan moves forward.

On the night before her fall, Rupa telephones Anil, pleading to meet him, but Anil refuses to open his door. In a confrontation that follows, Kunwarsahab throws Rupa from the third floor of The Park Hotel to her death. Kunwarsahab's scheme seems to be unraveling as the other characters sense the danger.

Inspector Das reveals to Anil that Rupa's death was not a suicide but a murder, and that Ruby was killed by an unseen assailant. Anil suspects Ruby, but her murder soon removes another direct witness. The investigation tightens as clues point toward a calculated conspiracy surrounding The Park Hotel.

A mysterious woman named Neeta visits Anil, instructing him to take her car to a restaurant at the bottom of the hill, where he will find the culprits. The car's brakes fail, forcing Anil to jump out as it plunges off a cliff; he is presumed dead by the authorities but survives. He then seeks Sunita, determined to uncover the truth about Rupa and Ruby.

Though believed dead, Anil secretly returns and reappears to Sunita, who now believes in his innocence. He takes her to meet Ramesh at The Park Hotel, and together they begin to piece together the murderous plot. The alliance between truth-seekers tightens as they inch closer to the killer.

In Kunwarsahab's mansion, Anil discovers an overcoat with a missing button—the same clue Inspector Das had linked to the killer. Sabina, Kunwarsahab's girlfriend, confesses that Kunwarsahab had an extramarital affair and killed his wife; Rupa had witnessed the crime. Kunwarsahab shoots Sabina as she tries to expose the truth and moves to silence Anil.

A fierce struggle ends with Kunwarsahab falling to his death from the mansion's third floor, while Sabina is killed and the truth comes to light. Police surround the scene as Sunita and Anil watch the justice unfold. The couple boards a train back to Delhi, bringing the tumultuous affair to a close.
