Casey Cantrell (Sharon Stone) sets off for the UK to personally deliver a letter to Lord Richard Bredon, the last wish of her late mother. A failed attempt to find him at his country residence sends Casey tumbling from a wall into the arms of Lord Bredon’s playboy son, Michael. He questions her, but she escapes with her name still unknown. Yet Michael isn’t done. He uses his influence to track her to a village inn, and when he learns she’s pressingly seeking her father’s whereabouts, he arranges an invitation for dinner so they can exchange clues and chase different leads.
