Jennifer Remming, known as Jenn, starts her ocean adventure with her boyfriend Lucas, friend Mia, and new acquaintances Brad and Zach. The group is excited but unaware of the peril that awaits them as they set sail into the vast ocean.

Their adventure takes a turn for the worse when a violent storm hits, devastating their boat. In the chaos, Jenn finds herself stranded on a desolate island, separated from her friends and facing an uncertain fate.

Jenn discovers that Brad has also washed ashore but is gravely injured. Tragically, he succumbs to his injuries, and Jenn is left with the haunting task of burying him in the sand, only to discover his grave disturbed the next day.

While exploring her surroundings, Jenn makes a horrifying discovery: a seemingly bottomless black hole hidden beneath the waves. This eerie feature sets the stage for the lurking dangers that she will soon face.

In a desperate attempt to signal for help, Jenn fires a flare at an approaching plane. Unfortunately, her timing is off, and she witnesses a shadowy creature lurking in the water, heightening her sense of dread.

Seeking refuge from the creature, Jenn hides inside a hollow log as night falls. The creature's presence looms as it attacks her shelter, forcing her into a perilous game of survival.

Jenn attempts to capture the creature by using a small shark she caught. However, her baiting endeavors are in vain as the creature continues to evade her, leaving only destruction and despair in its wake.

The situation worsens when Zach's body washes ashore, marked with strange knife wounds. In her desperation, Jenn tries to use his body as bait, but the beast remains elusive, heightening her feeling of helplessness.

To avoid the creature, Jenn constructs a suspended hammock above the ground. Despite her efforts, the creature manages to pull her down, forcing her to seek refuge in hiding until the danger passes.

After what feels like an eternity, Lucas and Mia arrive on the island in a raft. Jenn tries to warn them about the monstrous presence, but her warnings go unheeded, causing her to feel isolated and anxious.

After being stopped by Mia from escaping, Jenn awakens to confront Lucas about their complicated relationship and Zach's fate. Just as tensions escalate, the creature strikes again, whisking Mia away into the ocean.

Determined to escape the island and the creature, Jenn and Lucas gather whatever supplies they can find. However, Jenn becomes suspicious when she discovers blood on Lucas' pocketknife, raising concerns about his potential involvement.

The creature makes its most aggressive move yet, attacking their raft and dragging Jenn beneath the surface. In a fight for survival, she desperately uses Lucas' knife, but the creature ensnares him, pulling him into the abyss.

With Lucas gone, Jenn retreats to the island to prepare for her ultimate showdown with the creature. Armed with makeshift weapons crafted from kindling and spears, she steels herself for a frightening collision with the beast.

As night falls once again, Jenn finally confronts the creature in an explosive battle. Fueled by determination and desperation, she fights with all her might to defeat the monster that has terrorized her and taken everything from her.
