The film opens with Kuselan celebrating his 60th birthday. He suddenly suffers a heart attack, and his family rushes him to the hospital. Doctors warn that his condition is critical and may not allow him to live much longer.

In his last days, Kuselan reveals a request: he wants all of his children to be married before he dies. The family is moved by his plea and vows to fulfill it. The moment sets the central goal driving the entire plot.

To make the plan concrete, an advertisement is placed offering the family property and ₹1 crore to any couple willing to marry one of Kuselan's children. The announcement sparks widespread interest and launches the search process. The family hopes this will attract suitable matches despite the complexity.

Gnanapithan and Arivozhimangai, along with doctors Mithrabuthan and Panchabootham, start interviewing potential brides and grooms. They test candidates and screen for compatibility with Kuselan's children. The process is competitive and chaotic as many families come forward.

Several Kuselan children reveal preexisting romances with their would-be spouses: Arunachalam with Khushbu, Aavudaiappan with Savithri, and Indiran with Heera. Easwari, Uma, Aishwarya, and Hema also express affections for other partners. The interviews inadvertently threaten these relationships.
