Masud, an electrician, falls in love with Moyna when he sees her one day while fixing a street light. They later meet again while repairing the refrigerator at Moyna's house and develop a romantic relationship. The couple marries, and Masud eventually takes a job in Malaysia to support his new family. In his absence, Moyna receives gifts from his friend Jahir and begins an extramarital relationship with him. Moyna later leaves Masud and runs away with Jahir, only to discover that Jahir is already married.

Masud returns to Bangladesh to find that his home was repossessed by the chairman of his union council after he could not repay the loan taken for the wedding. He searches for Moyna and Jahir, determined to understand what happened and to reclaim his life. To earn money, he takes on dangerous work, including ice breaking and mining, but the income is still not enough. Nine months pass as he digs a tunnel underground to steal money from a bank. After the successful theft of ৳340 million, he reveals the amount to Moyna in a video call. The police announce a prize of ৳500,000 for information about the thief, prompting Moyna to hand him over to the authorities. Masud is imprisoned, but he escapes by digging another tunnel and ultimately burns Moyna to exact his revenge.
