Razoulli's raid and abduction

Razoulli launches a brutal raid on the Sultanate and defeats the defending forces, forcing Khalid to retreat. Before he is captured, Razoulli abducts Khalid's pregnant wife, Ayesha, taking her away from her homeland. The raid ends with Razoulli escaping, leaving the region in turmoil.

Birth of the blessed son

Ayesha gives birth to a son in the aftermath of the raid. A midwife proclaims the child blessed and destined to become the Sultan. The newborn is kept as a symbol of Razoulli's supposed triumph.

Razoulli raises the boy as his own

Razoulli raises the boy as his own, concealing the truth from Khalid. He tells Khalid that his wife and child died and seals the deception by naming the boy Sultan. The child grows up under rigorous warrior training, learning strategy and combat.

Khalid remarries an American journalist, Jane, and their son Samir is sent abroad for safety and education. Khalid is promoted to General and vows to one day kill Razoulli for abducting his family. The family and his career set Khalid on a collision course with Razoulli.

Sultan's encounter with Yasmeen

Sultan comes of age as a formidable warrior. During a cavalcade, he dares to meet Princess Yasmeen's gaze, refuses to bow, and earns her ire. Yasmeen captures him, tortures him in a prison, and forces him into a brutal death race conducted by her cousin Shakir.

After escaping the death race, Sultan abducts Yasmeen and the two become lovers after a series of charged confrontations. Their bond grows despite the power struggle between their families.
